Nurse Jana is so excited to be Hallowes Cove Academy’s school nurse! She was born and raised in Jacksonville Beach and now lives in Rivertown with her husband. She has two wonderful daughters, now 29 and 31, and she couldn’t be prouder of them.

Nurse Jana’s husband works 12-hour shifts that flip from days to nights every four weeks, and that unique schedule is actually what first led her into school nursing. She spent 12 years with Duval County Schools before exploring other areas of nursing after her children had graduated. However, she found herself missing the energy and connections that come with working in a school.

Nurse Jana is honored and happy to be back in school nursing here at HCA. Caring for students and supporting families is truly where her heart belongs!
